In this sermon, BJ digs through some nuggets of wisdom from Solomon, David and some NT writers. He presses on how important loving and godly correction is for the life of a believer and urges us to heed the warnings presented to us. No matter how much we it may hurt to admit, we all need discipline and correction at times. Let’s not let pride keep us from growing into a people that seeks to be holy as God is holy.

If anyone teaches false doctrines and does not agree to the sound instruction of our Lord Jesus Christ and to Godly teaching, he is conceited and understands nothing. He has an unhealthy interest in controversies and quarrels about words that result in envy, strife, malicious talk, evil suspicions and constant friction between men of corrupt mind, who have been robbed of the truth and who think that godliness is a means to financial gain.
